1. Spend some time away from the news since much of the news tends to be negative.

2. Make sure that you stay away from negative conversations.

3. Learn to forgive instead of holding grudges.

4. Do not be jealous of other people.

5. Accept it when you cannot change certain circumstances.

6. Do not dwell too much on the past.

7. Learn how to be more patient with others.

8. Don't take too many things personally.

9. Learn how to have better mental focus.

10. Spend some time learning how to meditate.
